Julien Cordahi is a corporate commercial lawyer with extensive legal and strategic expertise in digital technologies, media and advertising, intellectual property and venture capital, in both private practice and in-house roles.
Before returning to private practice and joining HNS, Julien served as Deputy General Counsel at Choueiri Group for almost 10 years, leading the in-house legal team’s operational involvement in the day-to-day activities of the Group entities across the MENA Region. During his tenure, he spearheaded numerous innovative projects alongside the C-Suite and the Group’s partners, clients and suppliers across the region’s Media and Advertising ecosystem, gaining extensive commercial, technical and strategic knowledge into the technology and media sectors.
Julien’s career includes significant experience advising on complex technology and media matters, as well as negotiating and structuring venture capital transactions. His role involved navigating cutting-edge issues in intellectual property and providing strategic guidance on complex long-term partnerships, business negotiations, high-stakes commercial disputes, cross-border corporate governance and tax optimization.
With over fifteen years of hands-on experience, Julien has gained a deep understanding of business dynamics and acquired invaluable insights into what business decision-makers seek in legal advice. He adeptly assesses business opportunities while mitigating legal risks, offering invaluable guidance for efficient decision-making.
He is currently serving his 3rd term as a board member and Legal Officer of the Advertising Business Group, the media industry’s largest self-regulatory organization of the region.
